Carl Cannon watched as more and more young people became prison inmates because of the poor choices they made in their lives, and decided to do something about it. Enlisting the help of others, Carl began visiting schools to teach students the importance of making responsible, positive life decisions today to determine the course their lives will take.
From those humble beginnings, C.H.O.I.C.E.S. Youth Outreach has grown every year, reaching more than 150,000 students throughout the Midwest with a powerful presentation of hope and empowerment. More than 265 at-risk adolescents have been chosen by ecucators to receive the annual C.H.O.I.C.E.S. Law Enforcement Incentive Awards, encouraging them to improve their own life choices and behaviors, excel, and to become a positive force in their communities.
The C.H.O.I.C.E.S. Youth Outreach Program is a progressive, three phase program, directly impacting thousands of children each year.
